I am a qualified teacher in both the grade school and high school.  I have a bachelor degree in teaching and have worked as a substitute teacher for 11 years.  I elected not to work full time in an effort to raise my children.    During a part of my children's life I successfully home schooled them, this allowed me to learn even more on how and why students succeed. I have passed up attractive employment opportunity to pursue educating my children.   This decision was a major one and a  personal sacrifice it was based on what I saw was happening to them when they were in traditional school.  Through no fault of the school I felt my children were distracted and did not get the individual attention needed, I could see how overwhelmed teachers were when I would substitute in the schools.  I am still home schooling my youngest  my oldest  tested high enough  on the SSAT to get accepted to a private high school out of the area.  I am confident I can make a difference in your child's education.
